Premium Group Subscriptions & Workshops for Care Homes

Step into a world where creativity meets history. Our studio packs offer a unique, tactile experience designed for all abilities, bringing stories of the Lake District and beyond to life through art.

Unique discoveries: where fine art meets history

Our Studio Packs completely redefine what a creative activity can be. Instead of the usual mass-produced plastic or clinical, uninspiring craft kits, our members create genuine, bespoke pieces of fine art they are incredibly proud to display. Every single month brings a completely new artistic medium and a fresh historical discovery. One month you might be using artisan clay to mold a custom relief tile inspired by ancient Cumbrian stone; the next, you’ll be working on a real canvas with premium paints to capture a vibrant winter dreamcatcher or a delicate 16th-century textile pattern.

What truly sets us apart is the hand-crafted, sensory storytelling woven into the art. We don’t give you stiff, pre-cut shapes. Instead, we embrace beautiful, organic techniques like decoupage and hand-tearing fine paper to create a unique, textured finish. Every pack includes a group discussion guide that connects the craft directly to the hidden history.

Designed with purpose: creativity for all abilities

We designed these Studio Packs with a very specific philosophy in mind: true creativity has no age limit, and it should always be full of dignity. They are crafted for older adults, residents in care homes, and individuals at home who want to stay connected to the arts. Whether someone is a lifelong experienced crafter or a complete beginner, these kits are built to be entirely accessible, deeply engaging, and free from frustration.

Having spent my life working in social care, I purposefully design these packs to move away from childish, clinical, or overly fiddly tasks. Instead, we use adaptive, organic techniques—like hand-tearing fine papers and working with tactile artisan clay—that are highly forgiving for changing physical abilities, such as arthritis or Parkinson's. They are perfect for care home activity coordinators looking for a premium, ready-to-go group session, as well as families wanting a meaningful, multi-generational creative experience.

Crafting the narrative: every pack tells a story

Absolutely. To me, an art project without a story is just a pile of materials. I purposefully design every single Studio Pack to act as a physical, tactile extension of that month’s historical mystery. When you open one of my packs, you are stepping directly into a specific theme rooted in the deep folklore, history, or natural beauty of the landscape.

For example, when my Heritage Letter explores the wild fells, the matching Studio Pack isn't just a random craft; I might have you working with premium paints on a real canvas to capture a vibrant winter dreamcatcher inspired by local folklore. If the letter uncovers a hidden stone cottage, your hands will be working with real artisan clay to mould a custom relief tile that mirrors the ancient Cumbrian stone. By connecting the art directly to the history, I turn every creative session into a multi-sensory journey—where the story sparks the memory, and the craft brings it to life.

The real experience: pride, connection, and a peaceful mind

Beyond the physical art piece, my deepest hope is that these packs give people a profound sense of pride, calm, and genuine connection. I know how easily a quiet afternoon can feel heavy or lonely, and how devastating it is when changing physical abilities make someone feel like they can no longer do the things they love. When someone opens one of my Studio Packs, I want that frustration to completely melt away. I want them to feel an immediate sense of excitement and possibility as they touch the premium materials. As they create, I hope they experience that beautiful, quiet state of flow where the mind finds peace, anxieties fade, and memories naturally bubble up to be shared. When the session is finished, I don’t want them to feel like they’ve just completed a clinical "activity" to pass the time. I want them to look at the canvas or clay tile they’ve made, feel an overwhelming wave of artistic pride. "I made that." I want my packs to remind them—and everyone around them—of exactly what they are still capable of achieving.
